Alex MillerOperations CEO
Alex is one of the enterprising co-founders of the Innovative Assets Group of Companies, and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the company’s flagship enterprise – Innovative Residential – over the past five years. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, Alex worked for a petroleum firm in Calgary prior to returning to Saskatoon. His passion for operational excellence has fuelled the quality of Innovative Residential’s affordable housing projects and programs. A strong believer in working to achieve best practices, Alex is the driving force around the design and development of the top quality craftsmanship that is the hallmark of Innovative Residential. Involvement in industry-related associations and groups is key to Alex’s intention of supporting and giving back to the larger community and the province overall.
Tyler MathiesCorporate CEO
Tyler, a co-founder of Innovative Assets, graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with Great Distinction and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree. He previously worked as an engineer in the field of project risk assessment and financial analysis for petroleum development projects. Tyler was instrumental in the development of the Mortgage Flexibility Support Program in 2009, which lead to a successful government partnership between the City of Saskatoon, Government of Saskatchewan, and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). He also led the development of the Tax Sponsorship Program with the City of Saskatoon and established a partnership between Affinity Credit Union and Genworth Financial that resulted in the creation of the Welcome Home Program, which assists new homeowners. Tyler currently serves as the Vice-President for the Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership, has served as an advisor on municipal affordable housing task forces, and has shared the company’s initiatives and insights at various conferences and webinars.
Steve WilkinghoffChief Financial Officer
Steve's previous experience includes consulting with clients in Canada, the U.S., England, and Romania and working as a partner at Meyers Norris Penney, one of Canada's larger accounting firms.
Michael (Mike) ChudobaVice President Marketing
Mike plays a key role within the organization to ensure that the affordable housing programs developed by Innovative Assets are marketed to the right audiences. Prior to joining Innovative Assets, Mike operated his own company working with the Canadian Immigrant Investor Program. He obtained his Saskatchewan Real Estate Broker license in 2006 and has successfully worked within the real estate industry for more than 7 years. Mike also served a 3-year tour of duty with US Army Airborne Jungle Operations. He later served as VP of Operations for a construction firm in New York City and then assumed the role of CEO of the Commando Group of Companies in New Jersey. Having immigrated to Canada from the United States, Mike is a passionate promoter of the affordable programs and projects spearheaded by Innovative Residential. The growth of the company is due in large part to Mike’s dedicated approach to marketing the company’s services to buyers and stakeholders.
Stacie BeeverCommunity Development Officer
As the Community Development Officer, Stacie works to advance Innovative Residential’s affordable housing solutions throughout Saskatchewan. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandon University. Stacie has worked with all levels of government, the residential construction industry as well as community-based groups to develop partnerships and secure funding and support for a variety of housing projects. She brings expertise in research and communications, grant and proposal writing, project-based business planning, marketing and event planning to the team. Currently, Stacie is the Vice-President of the International Women of Saskatoon.
